Welcome to the Borough Arms Hotel, a privately-owned hotel in Staffordshire. Renowned for our charm and warm hospitality, we offer an irresistible blend of modern comfort, romance and excellent dining. With the help of our experienced wedding co-ordinator, you can create the day of your dreams.

We are a licensed wedding venue with 2 private suites to choose from for your wedding ceremony, or we can host just your reception if you are getting married nearby. We can host weddings for up to 120 guests.

The perfect wedding venue for all seasons, you can celebrate your special day sipping aperitifs in the lounge bar or a private suite. There is an attractive area of parkland directly opposite the hotel, with trees, shrubs and undulating ground levels offering a variety of creative opportunities for your photographer.

We believe that every wedding celebration deserves to be truly original, and we can build a tailored wedding package that is ‘uniquely you’, or you can choose one of our special packages so you know exactly how much your wedding will be (we will always be very clear about this, no nasty surprises!)

You can choose where you celebrate – The Ostler Restaurant (up to 60 seated guests), The Baker Room (up to 35 guests), The King Room (up to 90 guests) or The Baker and King rooms combined. Bridal & Honeymoon Suites

We have 40 lovely en-suite bedrooms that can be booked by your guests, including 2 bridal suites for you to choose from – the Downing and Honeymoon Suites. Recently refurbished, these spacious suites are exquisitely decorated with soft fabrics and restful hues. They are the picture-perfect place to get ready for your special day, or to retire to after your fairy-tale wedding day.

The Downing Suite has a spacious bathroom with an impressive walk-in shower. The Honeymoon Suite offers beautiful views over Brampton Gardens. It has a glamorous bathroom with the pièce de résistance – a double-ended bath.

Both suites offer pretty views over Brampton Gardens.

Starting from *£3995.00, our “Royal” package offers a complete celebration, including ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. We had our wedding breakfast here on the 3rd May 2019. First of all I would like to say that we could not have picked a more wonderful place.

We only had a very small family wedding with 12 adults and 3 children and we opted for the Baker room which was just the right size for our wedding party. We cannot thank all the staff enough from actually planning the wedding with Emma to the actual day with Phil. The table was set out perfectly, the food was absolutely beautiful and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day ever.

We had our wedding reception here on 24th august, it was such an amazing day the staff were great, they couldnt do enough for us, the whole day ran smoothly and the room looked amazing both for our wedding breakfast and for the evening part, emma was amazing throughout the whole process constantly keeping us informed of changes etc, the bridal suite room was perfect a very well kept room, thank you to the borough arms for giving us a special day.

After being let down by Newcastle-under-Lyme register office, Mr Sheikh at the Borough Arms Hotel was brilliant, rearranging our wedding to be held there instead, at very short notice. Nothing was too much trouble, Emma the wedding planner was amazing too, communication and customer service was first class. On the day of our wedding, every member of staff were wonderful, helping to make our day one to remember (and calming a very nervous groom down before my arrival!) We also had our evening reception there, and again everything was beautiful – the food was fresh, the cheese oatcakes went down very well. Their DJ was really good too. My father in law stayed at the hotel for the whole weekend and was very impressed with his room and the service he received too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Borough Arms Hotel to anyone who is thinking of where to hold their wedding or any other celebration, they’re all happy to help in any way possible and we really could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.
